I was on a roll , Comrade. But If you remember in 1996 or so, there was an ad for something. So then this geezer is combing what looks like a chicks hair and it's an Afghan. Then the same galoot, Dr Jerrry Klein has a few Afghans running around. Well one of those dogs was Momo's grandma. The chick, Rachel Rosen had the knack of getting her dogs to obey her and that's why they were actors . Momo would never obey me. He was incorrigable. There's a list of dogs and Afghans are the most untrainable. People think they are pussies. They are hunting and herding dogs, They are the only animal that can keep up with a snow leopard in mountainous terrain. Well Momo had fun on Ocean Beach, and Fort Funston beach. That was the best time of his life. All those beautiful lesbians! He had a friend Shelly, but she croaked. The first time Momo went to the beach, here's this big mangy fish lying in the sand, so naturally he flopped right onto it! There was this place this like artists building where this guy did these lithographs of a dog. It was called "Black Dog" it was an omen cuz it was just like Momo. He was always a sort of clownish bastard, then one day I had smoked some dubage and he had turned into Omar Shariff. I swear to God!
I gave him a long light wiener rub for hours last night and rubbed his ears. When he died, I was giving him a lwr, like I promised. I was cuddling him as he died.
Then Rem and I buried him at my crib. He has his squeaky toy , two other chew... toys, and some dog food. He is wrapped in a sheet and is curled up on the correct side like he used when he snuggled against me. He is facing the house so he can see me.
The kids said I should have had a heart attack when filling in his grave , then Rembrandt could have kicked my body into it and we could have been together always.
I think it was more painful before he died because he was so tired out and weak. His back end was degenerated so he was so weak I had to help him get up.
Then I had to give him tons of pain pills so he was confused. So it was time for him to run around with Tam's dogs in Valhalla.

His voice was steady, and grateful. A hint of sad undertones.
"it's time for Momo to go, much sooner than we thought, Tam."Of course, he can't breathe well or go outside by himself.
We talked to Momo together, and exchanged words of support and understanding.
Stan has always been a rock and a good friend to me since the days of the Renowned Mrs. Boondoggle and the Chariot rides.
His words of wisdom and consistent emails carried me through the worst grief I have ever known with our recent loss.
Of course I will do the same for him.
He promptly decided "The boys will be there to greet Momo, they will run around together entertaining the Rhinemaidens in Valhalla until we get there.
I'm sure the Rhinemaidens will give him plenty of light wiener rubs to tide him over ".

Rem is digging Momo's grave to be right next to Zak the beautiful blonde Afghan from Stan's days in SF.
My heart goes out to Stan, Ma, Rem and the rest of the family in the next days and weeks to come.

The message came "1120 the wonder dog left us" and then the still moment when my thoughts are far away with you, being with you inside that place we have shared since each of us learned to love. It's a beautiful tribute, Chad. I wish I had something to say but I did not ever meet Momo. He looks like a sweetheart. I will dream about him tonight playing on the beach.
